LAB PERFORMANCE TESTS
RE-NEW SURFACE CRYSTALS with Fusion-Crete comparisions
Tests performed by CSA Approved Laboratories

Time Re-New Fusion-Crete

Compressive Strength

1 day 1790 PSI N/A
7 days 4060 PSI 3886 PSI
28 days 6760 PSI 4480 PSI

Flexural strength

1 day 419 PSI N/A
7 days 1206 PSI 1058 PSI
28 days 1653 PSI 1175 PSI

Tensile Bond strength

1 day 590 PSI N/A
7 days 336 PSI 312 PSI
28 days 390 PSI 368 PSI

Permeability

6 hours N/A 4606 coulombs
21 days 803 coulombs N/A

Note: The lower the coulombs values, the better resistance against spalling, salt damage, freeze-thaw damage, and scaling.

The mix design for RE-NEW CRYSTALS and Fusion-Crete test formulation ratio of 2.5 to 1 (40 - 60 silica sand to Portland cement type #1) at six (6) parts water to one (1) part crystal by volume and 0.4 liquid mix to cement ratio mix
